Elizabethtown-Kitley wraps around the City of Brockville in the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, with its southern border running along the St. Lawrence River. The township took its current form on January 1, 2001, through the amalgamation of the former Township of Elizabethtown and Township of Kitley, bringing together two rural communities under one municipal government while keeping their original ward names.
The Elizabethtown Ward includes the communities of Addison, Lyn, New Dublin, and Rocksprings, while the Kitley Ward to the north includes Bellamys Mill, Frankville, Jasper, and Newbliss. Each hamlet retains its own small scale character, from Lyn's historic mill pond village to the quieter farming crossroads further inland.
Spanning 555.96 square kilometres, the township combines riverfront land along the St. Lawrence with rolling farmland and forest further north, giving residents a range of settings from waterfront property near Brockville to more secluded rural acreage.
Housing options reflect that range as well, from village homes in Lyn and Addison to farmhouses and newer rural builds throughout the township. Deb Driscoll, Jaime Peca, and Luke Geleynse work with buyers across Elizabethtown-Kitley and can help you navigate what's currently available, from St. Lawrence riverfront homes to small hamlet properties, within easy reach of Brockville.
